At Red Amber Green Driving School, It is our belief that giving back to those in need is not only a moral obligation, but also a way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. We will continue to seek out opportunities to support charities and make a positive impact on our community.
CHARITIES
As a responsible member of my community, I have been actively supporting the NHS in various ways during the Covid-19 pandemic. This includes showing my gratitude for their hard work through initiatives such as the claps for carers, and also helping the elderly members of my family by running errands like shopping, hospital runs, and transporting them to and from their Covid-19 vaccine appointments.
I had the honor of leading the Uckfield to Haywards Heath leg of the Big Learner Relay that raises funds for BBC Children in Need. It was a privilege to be a part of such a meaningful initiative, which supports the well-being of children and young people across the UK.
Between 2006 and 2007, I participated in the Stoke Associations London Thames Bridges Bike Ride on behalf of the National Stroke Association. It was an incredible experience to support such a worthy cause and raise awareness for stroke prevention and recovery. The bike ride took me across some of London's most iconic bridges, offering breathtaking views of the city while also challenging me physically.
Over a decade, from 2001 to 2010, I participated in the annual London to Brighton Cycle ride, riding on behalf of the British Heart Foundation. The ride was not only a personal challenge but also an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for a charity that works tirelessly to prevent heart disease and support those affected by it.
